Title: White Rabbit – A depiction of a White Rabbit from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. The rabbit is in full stride trying to keep pace with its pocket watch, which is being pulled out from the rabbit’s Highland Tweed jacket pocket. The work is a comment of the seemingly perpetual motion of the essential feeling of “needing to do”. the working title of the piece was LATE, and plays on Zeno’s Paradoxes. The background color is influenced by the early work of artist Max Infeld, “Xerographer”, and the late James Kuiper, who was kind enough to teach, employ and mentor Peter in Chico, CA in the mid 2000’s.
Care instructions: Items are delivered in an acid-free glassine paper. Non-Display Storage: flat and out of direct sunlight. All materials are archival, and will show no signs of aging for up to 200 years.
