A sub-species of Big-foot, decipherable by it’s tone, demeanor and accessories.
My hometown, Lafayette CA, has been affectionately called the “Heady Yette” by friends over the years. Its tucked just over the hills from Oakland and Berkeley. I wanted to create a character where legend would have it that it walks around a massive reserve called Briones Regional Park. Briones is a beautiful natural area that spans over 6,000 acres and features rolling hills, grassy meadows, and oak woodlands. The park has several accesses that are simple fire trails as it serves as a huge water reservoir for the state. Sadly, it seems every year someone gets lost and expires to exposure in this wild reserve that is surrounded by civilization. So to perhaps the Heady Yette survives in secrecy despite mans grip on the world.
